I am Erica Baker, I am a 57 year old transgender lady currently residing in Grove Oklahoma. I've been a resident of this town since the spring of 2019. I am a Southern California native and have lived in five states in my life, so yes I have moved around.
My Journey
My journey began at the tender age of six years of age. I knew I was different, and I was keenly aware of who and what I was even at that age. Through my trials and tribulations I made a conscious decision to begin the process of living my life in the manner of my own choosing. It has not been easy, I would be lying to you if I said it was. We all have one shot at this life, and I am living my life as true and authentic as I can.
My Beliefs
I am a believer that we should love whom we choose, and be whomever we choose to be. I am a sexual rebel in the sense that society has placed too many restrictions on love, gender, and with devastating consequences to many relationships. I believe persons should marry who they choose, whether if they are gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, straight, or something else all together. We should have that freedom, regardless if society will accept it or not. With that said, love should be consensual between persons, nothing should be forced upon anyone. It has been said when you find true love, then you are indeed a wealthy person. It is that love that will in the end enrich you.
My Stand on Human Sex Trafficking
Human sex trafficking, and the trafficking of children is abhorrent to me. It is a scourge upon the fabric of society. It isn't love, but a sadistic thirst for power and control at all cost. It destroys the soul, and once you cross that line you can never go back no matter how hard you try. We as human beings were made to love, not to gain untoward power and control of another person or persons. Human sex trafficking is just that, a quest for power, control, and the destruction of the human spirit.
